Principal's Message - November 2025

As we move into November, I want to take a moment to reflect on the positive momentum we've built at Huron High School this fall. Our students continue to impress me with their dedication, resilience, and school spirit, and it's clear that great things are happening in our classrooms and throughout our building.
This month has been particularly exciting with events like our Future Fair, which connected juniors and seniors with over 40 colleges, universities, career training programs, and military branches. Watching our students engage with these opportunities and take ownership of their futures is what education is all about. I'm grateful to our guidance department and all the exhibitors who made this event possible.
We've also seen tremendous school spirit with ODDball 2025, where students from all grade levels came together for some friendly competition and fun. Events like these remind us that high school is about more than academics—it's about building community, creating memories, and developing the kind of character that will serve our students well beyond graduation.
As we approach the Thanksgiving break, I encourage all of us to take time to reflect on what we're grateful for. I know I'm grateful for the incredible staff who show up every day to support our students, for the families who partner with us in this important work, and for the students who make Huron High School such a special place.
Please remember that safety remains a priority as the days get shorter and weather conditions change. Take extra care during morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups, and remind your students to be aware of their surroundings.
Thank you for your continued support of Huron High School. I hope everyone enjoys a restful and meaningful Thanksgiving with family and friends. We'll see you back here ready to finish the semester strong!
