Mr. Lamb's January Message

I hope you all had a relaxing winter break and enjoyed time with family and friends. It's great to have our students and staff back in the building as we kick off 2026 and the second half of the school year.
January feels like a natural time to hit the reset button. I'm encouraging our students to think about what they want to accomplish this semester, whether that's raising a grade, joining a new club, building stronger connections with classmates and teachers, or picking up a new skill. Small steps now can lead to real progress by June.
The second semester is packed with opportunities. We have academic competitions, athletic seasons, performances, service projects, and leadership experiences lined up. I hope every student finds something that gets them excited and pushes them to grow. High school goes by quickly, and these are the moments that stick with you.
Attendance continues to be one of the biggest factors in student success. I know winter can be tough with illness and weather, but showing up consistently and staying engaged really does make a difference. We're here to support students when challenges come up, so please reach out if your family needs help.
I want to give a shoutout to our staff, who work hard every day to support our students and create a school environment where everyone can succeed. Their commitment doesn't go unnoticed.
And to our parents and families, thank you for your continued partnership. You know your kids best, and we value your input and involvement. If you ever have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us.
Let's make this semester a strong one. I'm looking forward to seeing what our students accomplish in the months ahead.
