Lauren Hankins Recognized for Outstanding Community Service

Congratulations to Lauren Hankins, who was recently featured as the January 7th EHOVE Future Leaders Community Service Spotlight recipient!
Lauren, a student in the Medical Careers program at EHOVE, has dedicated over 15 hours to community service, demonstrating exceptional leadership and compassion. Her commitment to making a positive impact in our community has earned her recognition and a nomination for the end-of-year Community Impact Award.
Lauren's Service Contributions Include:
- Volunteering over 12 hours to help stock the OHgo Food Truck for community food deliveries
- Assisting the Sandusky Rotary Club with their Clothes for Kids event, where she was paired with a 10-year-old girl and helped her select new winter clothing
- Helping push veterans from their rooms to the Veterans' Day celebration at the Ohio Veterans' Home
- Making boxes for the Victory Kitchen that will be used to pack gifts for children at Christmas
About the Community Impact Award
The EHOVE Future Leaders Community Impact Award honors students who demonstrate exceptional commitment to making a positive difference through service. Recipients are selected based on their service hours, leadership and initiative, and the meaningful impact they create in their school or home communities.
To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 15 documented service hours, show impactful involvement through leadership and initiative, and reflect on how their service made a difference. Lauren's dedication and compassion exemplify what it means to lead where you stand.
